Markets & events
We Make it Home is a small, independent business, our products are sold mostly at markets and fairs throughout Kent (and beyond). If you visit Deal Town Market (CT14) on a Saturday, you will usually find us there on our busy stall.

About us
Hello, we are Maria Underwood artist and woodworker Dan Underwood, husband and wife team behind the We Make it Home collection.

Nestled in his seaside studio near Deal, Kent, Dan creates and carefully handcrafts homeware and furniture that celebrates the natural grain and textures of wood. Sometimes, he enhances these pieces with striking floral designs and vibrant epoxy resin accents. Each item is one-of-a-kind.
Maria produces stunning contemporary paintings & prints inspired by the beauty of nature. Her warm and unique artwork will accentuate the natural feel of your home. Additionally, she specialises in flower preservation and collaborates with Dan when projects require this skill.
